HOUSTON — Four people are dead after three separate crashes around the Houston area. On the Eastex Freeway, police said a car veered off the freeway into a grassy near the I-610 West around 2 a.m. and rolled over multiple times. One person was pronounced dead and three others were rushed to a hospital in critical condition.

HOUSTON – Two people were killed after a fiery crash in Northwest Houston. Police said the driver was speeding on the Northwest Freeway frontage road and Hewitt Drive at about 1:30 p.m. They said the driver lost control, hit a barricade on the entrance ramp and the car caught fire. The driver and a passenger died at the scene.
